Art in the Shop: Time out for a shout out!

It is with heartfelt admiration and congratulations to Zoi and John to see them retire after so many years in service to creating beautiful things, and helping others do the same. I look forward to seeing the next period of their artistic life unfold.
With their retirement, my shop has made the exciting decision to inventory and provide Stained Glass Supplies, Classes and Repairs. I am especially excited to be hiring Mark Tease, a 15 year veteran of Glass Endeavors to lead this new stained glass charge!

If you are a stained glass artist let me know your favorite glass. We are building the glass library now.

Mark Chagall (1887 - 1985) was a well known Belarusian-French painter and stained glass artist. Many of his works draw inspiration from biblical passages.
The work above, "The Window of Peace and Human Happiness", is a memorial window made for the United Nations in 1964. It honors Secretary-General Dag Hammarskjöld and 15 others that died in a plane crash. This window includes religious symbols and features the blue tones that Chagall is known for.
