Art in the Shop: Sarah Phillipps
Potekglass is excited to introduce a new employee Sarah Phillipps! She will be in the studio Tuesday through Friday helping with administrative duties, shipping, and stained glass questions!
Growing up Sarah's mother showed her faux stained glass art with liquid enamels. This sparked an interest for stained glass that would stay with her throughout her life! In 2011 Sarah's husband taught her the basics and she began creating sun-catchers with flowers, birds, and basic shapes. She has expanded her knowledge of stained glass with experience in foil and traditional lead came methods.
Sarah's other crafty hobbies include watercolor painting, jewelry, miniature scenes for cake toppers, sewing, leatherwork and photography.
