Art in the Shop: Your Glass Art!

Want to use our kilns to fuse your own glass art? We offer "Free Glass Fridays" every Friday (and sometimes on Saturdays) to give all levels of fused glass artists a fun way to play with glass and create using our Bullseye scrap glass.

You can also rent one of our small or large kilns for a firing cycle. If you'd like more info on kiln rentals please email us at info@potekglass.com or give us a call 612-281-7243

Pictured above is Janice Cloutier's FGF creation. She started with a couple of her own 10”x10” clear glass sheets and then got great use out of all our different colored glass scraps + stringers to make her flower garden! We did a full fuse the following week and then here we are, masterpiece!

Her granddaughter even came by to the studio to see the piece before it was fused and exclaimed, “you made that?!”

Artist in the World: Josephine Geiger

Fine Art Stained Glass at J. A. Geiger Studio

When she's not building her deck or doing home improvement projects, Josephine A. Geiger works from her Saint Paul, Minnesota studio, creating geometric and slightly abstract landscapes. Working with a bold palette of rectangles and squares of colored light, she composes leaded stained-glass panels with an Impressionistic eye.

Check out a couple of her leaded glass pieces in this month's Potekglass artist highlight, and click "Read More" to visit her website where she has all sorts of her work featured!

Answer is, Classical music from the likes of

Elvis Costello, Elliott Carter, and Ludwig van Beethoven.
