Rose Window Replicas for St. Catherine University
We are thrilled to share this stained glass reproduction hand crafted by our team. It was a commissioned piece, exclusively for St. Catherine University and its generous donors.
These stained-glass pieces are a representation of the iconic Rose Window that graces the front facade of Our Lady of Victory Chapel at St. Catherine University.
The Rose Window connects Our Lady of Victory Chapel to the French legacy of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, as these circular, intricately detailed windows appear in all of the major Gothic cathedrals in northern France. Rose windows are also sometimes referred to as Catherine windows, a reference to Saint Catherine of Alexandria, the patron saint of St. Catherine University.

Glass Menagerie - Tortoise!

Learn the basics to sculpt a glass turtle on the torch.
Glass Menagerie is a series of beginner classes as an introduction to sculpture on the torch. Using Borosilicate color and clear rod, students will learn the fundamentals of creating shapes into small animal sculptures.
Students in the tortoise class will learn the difference between seals and punties, how to tune a gather, how to use mashers, the importance of heating out tool marks, and how to work with and strike boro colors!
No experience or supplies necessary. Class cost covers glass and student tool kit rental for the session.

Enter the world of 3-D stained glass creation! In this 4-week class you'll create a multi-sided panel lamp shade using the copper-foil method. Learn what makes a good lamp shade design, and techniques for successful shade construction. Stop in ahead of the first class to discuss your pattern and pick out glass. Bring 2 copies of your pattern to the first class. Students will purchase a few supply items during the class.
