Artist in the World: Stanislav Libensky and Jaroslava Brychtova
Stanislav Libensky and Jaroslava Brychtova Lived a storied and virtuosic art career in glass. Born in the 1920s in then Czechoslovakia their work and marriage spans over 80 years. Theirs was a fundamental influence in my desire to become an artist working in glass. Monumental in their presence and intimate in their encounter. Their sculptures evoke an interior dialogue both primeval and filled with exuberance.
